Broken Hearts Can Be Healed!

He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

Psalms 147:3

Dealing with the death of my parents is something that I have to constantly ask the Lord to help me with. There is not a day that goes by that I do not miss them and wished they were here to experience life with my family and me. It may sound crazy, but at times I have asked the Lord to let them know that I am okay and to let them know that I love them so very much.

Even though I miss them tremendously, the Lord has proven himself to be a healer of my broken heart. I am grateful I do not have to “do life” alone; and you don’t either! The Lord is willing and able to heal your heart; no matter what your wounds may be! All you have to do is ask Him to help you. Let Him into your life and He will do just that! You may not have dealt with the loss of a loved one. You may be going through some other situation that has wounded or traumatized you; a situation that has you in a dark place. You may not feel it, but the Lord is close to you. If your heart is broken and wounded, know that the Lord is able to heal your heart and make it new. 

Prayer: Father God, in the name of Jesus.  Thank you for being close to my broken heart.  I appreciate you for not leaving me and sticking right by my side. I am asking that you use your Master's hands and sew up the wounds that are in my heart and make me whole again. Lord, touch my mind.  Help me to have peace about the things that have happened to me.  I trust you and know you are able! Thank you for being my healer. Thank you for being my friend. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
