Renew and Refresh

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Isaiah 40:31

I know I have not uploaded a blog in a while…let me explain why. The Lord has been renewing and refreshing me. You know how when you go to get your car serviced, they have to renew and refresh the oil, brakes, tires, etc. To do this, the car must stop and be elevated higher than ground level so the mechanic can see what is needed and to correct any problems so the car can work at its full potential. Well… I am the “car” and the Lord is the “Mechanic”. The Lord is renewing and refreshing me so I can do what needs to be done for Him. He is teaching and showing me how to love and take care of myself so I can love and take care of others.

If you need to be renewed and refreshed, He will do the same thing for you. Just slow down and let Him work in your life!

Prayer: Father God in the name of Jesus. Thank you for being such a good Father by letting me know I need to slow down for you to work on me. Father thank you for being the "“Potter” of my life. Lord, I am asking that you help me as I am going through the process of being renewed and refreshed. I want the world to see you in me, but I need your strength to be equipped for what I need for myself and others. Thank you for loving and directing me in the path that I need to take for my life. I love and thank you. In Jesus’ name.. Amen!
