Weapons Won’t Prosper
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.
Isaiah 54:17
The other morning, I was reminded of a powerful truth: "No weapon formed against me shall prosper!" This motivated me to get out of bed, read the scripture, and take a moment to contemplate its meaning. So, what do we consider a weapon? It can be anything intended to harm us, bring us down, or fill us with anxiety and sorrow. The scripture reassures us that while weapons may be formed, they will not succeed. Why is that? Because Jesus has equipped us with the tools we need to combat the enemy.
We are engaged in a spiritual battle! The devil aims to distract us and lead us away from what truly matters. So, how can we stay strong against the enemy? We pray, fast, stay in the Word, surround ourselves with uplifting, godly friends, etc. It’s essential to focus on the TRUTH that God shares with us.
When the enemy attempts to steal your joy, use the weapons (the tools) that the Lord has provided. Let’s strive to live a life that honors Him. With Jesus by our side, we are more than conquerors! We have everything we need because He fights for us and alongside us! Always remember that Jesus is with you! Continue to Make it a GREAT day!
Prayer: Father God, in the name of Jesus; I want to thank you for the assurance that no weapon formed against me will succeed when I am rooted in You and allow You to lead my life! There are times when the weight of people and situations can be overwhelming and uncomfortable, but I am grateful to know that You are always by my side. Lord, grant me the strength to pray for those who may wish to harm me. I ask for Your forgiveness for them, just as You asked for forgiveness from Your Father for those who wronged You. You are the ULTIMATE example! Thank you for being my support and guiding me through my life journey. I love You and appreciate Your presence in my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen!
